Now, I am convinced, fingerboard is probably the best tool to make my fingers stronger, and your fingers too.
Actually fingerboard is pretty new for me.
In 2015 I met and climbed with Jonathan Siegrist and Sonnie Trotter, both very accomplished climbers and they pointed out to me that the best thing they did to become stronger is using a fingerboard as a training tool.
Since then an on going body of research is supported their claims, mainly by DR. Eva Lopez and the research team at "Lattice training" both found an increase in finger strength after training a with a fingerboard in this finger strength protocol
Since then I am using a fingerboard in my training and I can see and feel an increased my finger strength gradually since.
I do believe that finger strength, is probably one the key factors to achieve a desired grade
and that is why I created this fingerboard to help climbers to achieve their dreams routes.
So I integrated few simple ideas behind my design board :
- I created the option for both portable or fixed board,
I often travel for climbing so i thought it will be nice to have it portable but in the same time that can be fixed like a normal one.
The portable quality can be good also for rented apartments, when you do not want to drill holes in the walls
2. Edge size that fits the recent research about finger strength so I used 20 mm and 14 mm
20mm can give me a lot of information about what grade your fingers can climb, and 14 mm is a small enough edge to train small edges.
3. Warmup jugs for two hands of one hand and also 20 mm edge for one hand hangs, a perfect solution if you need to warm up in a crag every route is too hard for a warm up, and Ideal for one hand pull ups.
4. light and beautiful wooden design
Who is it for:
Climber who seek portable board for home or traveling
Climbers who prefer wood , no fuss board
climbers who appreciate the board simplicity and efficiency
The fingerboard is produced in Stockholm with fine wood materials by "ProblemSolver" Fingerboard company, and it available now :
